Hotel Extranet

Along with the release of BookingLokal for users in Indonesia who wanted to book hotels, we also needed to release a localized property management system for hotel owners that we were acquiring to list their hotels on our platform. Through three iterations and lots of user testing, we now have all the basics that property managers need to manage their listing, rates, availability, and bookings on our app.

Problem: Budget hotel owners are currently being harmed by large OTA’s demanding that they pay high commission and lower their prices. Hotel owners are still small business owners and want to be able to earn a profit.

Solution: Budget hotel owners must be given a platform to sell their hotel rooms directly to bookers, manage those bookings, and reward good guest behavior to encourage repeat bookings.

Outcome: An extranet for hotel owners to manage their hotel listing and property information as well as keep a guest database to manage relationships with guests.
